RANDBETWEEN function in Excel

Returns a random number between the numbers you specify

=RANDBETWEEN(bottom, top)

RANDBETWEEN syntax and parameters

Two arguments, two required.

  • bottomnumberRequired

    The smallest integer RANDBETWEEN will return.

  • topnumberRequired

    The largest integer RANDBETWEEN will return.
